i don't feel like studying._.
just,no mood.
what's so nice about studying at home anyway,i'll just put my head on the table and fall asleep
i like studying open air
makes me feel light-headed and relaxed(:
libraries would do too, but my hands will end-up cold and my handwriting will go more haywire than it already is
maybe i should study outside tomorrow!
hmm,
i wonder if i can get A's for all the sciences
i know my maths daily work will totally pull the A's down,oh dear...
oh,i just want to at least get those grades for the common tests themselves.
and what about my A2 for English?HAHAHAHAHA.
that is so down the drain.
today was Social Studies and Physics.
i like, studied SS so last minute, made notes only the night before!but being put under the pressure i was able to absorb better.
i don't like the process of making notes.i get fussy over how to organise everything and whether everything's absorb-able.but once they're done i feel a sense of accomplishment.
Physics?nothing much to revise further, everything links and falls into place, that's what i like about science:)
our exams were in the hall and it was rainy today.quite a nice environment actually with the rain pouring relentlessly and the ambiance of the hall.
wow,to think that O levels will be in that very place,a year later.
thinking about my exam results in Kranji Secondary School,
through out these 3 years:
they're so mediocre.
average,unimpressive,mundane grades.
B's,occasional A's and C's.very rare failures.
sure, sometimes i might improve in several areas.but they are still numbers i'm not proud of.
hm,since the start of sec1,fresh out of primary school and not knowing what to expect and feeling demoralised over my PSLE score, i ended up just accepting my grades and took comfort in "Muahaha, the rest of the class did worse in this subject.Maybe this grade is not too bad." then i lowered my standards and learned not to get too upset over a B or C5 if i wasn't good in the subject in the first place.and didn't strive to get a cool top40 or 80 level position.
and slowly,i got influenced to not be hardworking, studying only a few days before the exam.i just, slacked.
and now i think, how stupid could i have been and got influenced?
as a result i don't use as much mental capacity.I think superficially and just wanted pass better than a C and memorise what i only needed to learn.I don't think so critically.Stuff like Lit,History,Physics, I just noted down what i had to learn to spew out later without bothering to understand and appreciate a clever thought of philosophy or wonder.
I want to study more this year.
Haha, seems like I'm a little more pressured with my new class environment.
It's like,it seems like everyone is so independent in their homework and bother to pass up most work on time(not many stay back doing unfinished hw during recess or after sch) and then you're like "Wow,whatever happened to having 'i'll-pass-up-tmr' allies or 'yay!-you-didn't-do-your-homework-too'?"
not many slackers.
and like, teachers don't chase after us for homework anymore, boohoo?:P
it's now like silent treatment and "tough love,no marks for you" instead of "i believe you owe me homework, mister?"
we do the panicking.
so,can someone push me to like, consolidate and study every wkend?:P
like push me to go out and study at Fullerton Starbucks or somewhere.
lol.yes,Fullerton Starbucks.all the way to the calm yet lively Singapore River where it's windy and nice.I like it there,it feels homely seeing how often I go around there for a concert at Esplanade or Victoria CH. maybe next time i'll try Changi?yeah!:D travelling is fun.
Hmm,yeah,i plan to do this frequently during June Holidays while consolidating with studies and undone notes.Study at far away places with good study environments then pick the best to make regular exam-period beelines.
gosh,i'll go broke eating out.
ok,better go mug a bit.
damn,keep thinking tomorrow there's Chem.
too anxious to memorise the answering methods and it's my fav Science subject after all.
*relax* it's just E.MathsP1 and then Sub-History.
P.S.ooh,i bought some clothes and a tote bag :D yay for warehouse sales.
