heavy sleeper too.
darn, why am i always so sleepy all the time? D:
i just sit down on the couch,or lie down on the bed to rest, and end up sleeping and waking up hours later.
i have never been a short-nap person i guess.
i remember i used to fall asleep when i come back home from school quite often
then when i wake up at,say,1am?then i would realise i hadn't done my homework and chiong TT
and i dunno why i'm thirsty all the time these days
the kind of thirsty as if water's some sweet, sugary concoction and i can't get anough of it
must be the heat?
i miss rainy days!
when i won't be worrying about getting late to school!
i ran for the bus after band today
with my clarinet in hand!
feat,yo!*applause*
and i bumped into Beatrice,i think she was with other clarinetists, cause i saw a clarinet on one of their laps.
haha,random.
hmm, next monday is the O level Mother Tongue paper for the sec4's
this week was their Mother Tongue intensive
what i will go through next year :x
gosh, can you imagine 5 days straight through of pure, concentrated Mother Tongue?
i think by the time we all get through that whole thing our tongues will stick out and drool, our eyes will roll around and we won't be able to feel our legs anymore!um.in my imagination.
and,an issue i would like to bring up;
why is it that JC students that took HMTL(and got C6<) for O levels are exempted from Mother Tongue?
isn't it just purely unfair and unjustified for us average MT students who do not oh-so-dearly love MT to the point that we take it in it's most cruel and gruelling form to have to go through it further?
i understand that as HMTL students, they have taken up,er,more Mother Tongue than us and thus, we are less adequate in our bases of Mother Tongue, so we need to broaden our MT skills further in JC.
so?
what's Mother Tongue got to do with getting into a university??
it's not required anyway!
and shouldn't taking one less subject allow us to focus more on others?
oh,and Poly students don't have to take it,so why do we?
and since HMTL students take up HMTL because they are strong in Mother Tongue and have such passion in it to the point of taking on a higher level of it, shouldn't it be they who would suit taking up JC MT?
'sides,i heard that JC MT is harder than secondary HMTL.
isn't the difference in the level of interest in the subject MT as can be seen from the level taken by the student a good evidence that they are simply not as keen and do not possess as much aptitude to take up the subject?(*history student inference-linking skills power!*)
say,for example,if you are stronger in your Humans and you like it,hence you will take pure Humans, and might prefer to go to the Arts stream.
therefore, why make MTL students suffer unnecessarily for something they do not like and don't need instead of letting HMTL students do what they love to do?
THEREFORE, MTL should just remain as a bloody optional subject in JC for EVERYONE. Those who like it so much take it, those who don't and because it's not necessary in getting into uni anway, don't have to. Best of both worlds. Everyone's happy.
oh, and furthermore, why is it that HMTL can be used to cut off some points in their L1R5?
and even replace their English if their English grades are worse?
that's even more NOT BLOODY FAIR:(
what about those who have good English grades but just suck at MTL?we don't get credit for it.
in addition to that, the MTL grade would pull us down.
GRR.
no offences to any Higher Mother Tongue students reading this post.you should go away, though, your presence is not any fun:(
there should like,be something called Higher English.ha.sounds cool.i'd like to take it.
and Third Lang should be open, too, not only to those with HMTL distinction(is it?),but those with A* for English.
(as if my english is great and i'm talking like this:P)
sigh.
i just don't want to take Mother Tongue after secondary school, like, ever.
want to go to a JC too.
life's never fair anyway.
Goodbye
P.S. anyone got 2 extra tickets to SYFiesta?last minute
or,is it possible to buy a ticket on the spot?
do tell.
